Privacy Policy

Last updated July 2026 · United States, USD, English

This Privacy Policy explains how Hoovli, LLC (“Hoovli,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when providers and their clients use Hoovli, our booking, deposits, and payouts platform for independent solo service professionals in the United States.

1. Who this policy covers

Hoovli serves two kinds of people. Providers are the independent solo service professionals who run their business on Hoovli. Clients are the people who book and pay for a provider's services through that provider's booking page. This policy describes how we handle information for both. A provider's clients are their customers, not ours; we process client information on the provider's behalf to make the booking, payment, and reminders work.

2. Information we collect

Provider account information. When you create a provider account, we collect what you give us to set up and run your business: your name, email address, phone number, business name, services, prices, hours, location and service area, deposit and cancellation settings, and any photos or descriptions you upload. To receive money, you complete payout onboarding through our payments processor; the bank and identity details for that live with the processor, not with us.

Booking and client contact information. When a client books, we collect the details needed to fulfill the appointment: the client's name, phone number, optional email address, the service and time selected, any notes the client adds, and, for a house call, the service address. We also record the deposit and balance for that booking so the money can be reconciled.

Payment information. Card payments, deposits, and payouts are handled by our payments processor, Stripe. Hoovli does not collect or store full card numbers. We keep records of the amounts, fees, and status of each transaction so that every money operation is reconstructable and reconcilable to the cent.

House-call addresses. A client's address combined with an appointment time is treated as safety-sensitive. We collect it only when a booking is a house call, use it only to validate the service area, calculate the travel fee, and show the provider where to go, and we never write it to our application logs.

Usage and device information. Like most online services, we collect basic technical information automatically, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this to keep the service secure, diagnose problems, and understand how Hoovli is used.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to operate and improve Hoovli, specifically to:

run bookings and manage schedules; take deposits and process payments, transfers, and payouts; send appointment confirmations, receipts, and text and email reminders; validate house-call addresses and calculate travel fees; collect and display reviews after completed visits; provide customer support; prevent, detect, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents; keep required financial and legal records; and comply with the law.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use a provider's client information to market Hoovli to that provider's clients.

4. Text messages and email

We send text messages through our messaging provider from a verified toll-free number, and email through our email provider, to deliver booking confirmations, reminders, receipts, and account notices. Standard message and data rates may apply to text messages. Providers and clients can adjust notification preferences, and reminders honor quiet hours. Certain transactional messages, such as a payment receipt or a critical account notice, are part of using the service.

5. How we share information

We share information only with the service providers that help us run Hoovli, and only as needed for them to perform their function. Each is a processor acting on our instructions, bound to protect the information, and not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not sell information to anyone.

Our core service providers are: Stripe for payments, deposits, and payouts;Telnyx for text messaging; Postmark for email delivery; andRadar for address validation and distance calculations on house calls. Your use of Hoovli may also be subject to Stripe's terms where you complete payout onboarding. We may change service providers over time and will keep this policy current.

We may also share information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to enforce our Terms, to protect the safety, rights, or property of users or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this policy.

6. Tenant isolation

Hoovli is multi-tenant, and each provider's data is isolated from every other provider's by design and enforced in the database. A provider sees only their own bookings, clients, and money. Client records never span providers; the same person booking with two different providers is two separate records, one for each business.

7. Retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active and for as long as we need it to provide the service. We retain certain records after that where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and reconciliation purposes, or to resolve disputes. Financial records tied to payments and payouts are kept for the periods required by law. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

8. Security

We protect information with encryption in transit and at rest, database-level tenant isolation, access controls, and secure handling of payment data through our processor. Safety-sensitive information, including house-call addresses, is kept out of our logs. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly if an issue arises.

9. Your choices and rights

You can review and update your account details, business information, and notification preferences from within Hoovli at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to or limit certain processing. To make a request, email us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity, and some information must be retained for legal and financial reasons even after a deletion request. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Clients who want to update or remove information tied to a booking can contact the provider they booked with, or reach us and we will help route the request.

10. Cookies

Hoovli uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to run the service, such as keeping you signed in and keeping your session secure. We keep cookie use minimal and focused on operating the platform. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of Hoovli from working.

11. Children

Hoovli is not intended for anyone under 18. Providers must be at least 18 to create an account, and the service is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. United States only

Hoovli is offered in the United States, and information is processed and stored in the United States. Hoovli is not intended for use outside the United States.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here with a new date. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you. Your continued use of Hoovli after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
